The adventure to Norway begins

The Ténéré Travel Trophy (TTT) 2025 promises to be an unforgettable adventure. After the successful second edition in 2024, the organizers announced the destination for the third edition at the Yamaha Europe headquarters in Amsterdam in November 2024: Norway! This country, full of myths, legends, giants, gods, and breathtaking landscapes, is the ultimate destination for motorcyclists seeking adventure and pristine scenery.

Preparations for the Ténéré Travel Trophy 2025

My husband and his friend decided to sign up for this special trip as well. They opted for the dealer package, which included transportation of their motorcycles to and from the start line, allowing them to focus on enjoying the journey. The countdown could begin, and on June 15, 2025, we set off together with other Dealer Package participants to Denmark, where the adventure truly started.

Arrival in Ténéré Town and Experience Day

We flew with the entire group from Schiphol to Denmark. Reuniting with the team and various participants was fantastic. The atmosphere was immediately great – ready for the start of this unique event and trip. The next day was dedicated to the Experience Day at the Hjørring Motocross Club. Here, participants enjoyed workshops, off-road riding, and exciting challenges. The team of TwinPegs was also present, offering trial opportunities with their innovative TwinPegs product.

Motor Adventures and technical challenges in Denmark

Denmark offers a rare chance to ride vehicles on the beach — something that is unfortunately allowed in only a few places. Our group took advantage of this and rode together over the unforgettable sand. At the same time, the Yamaha Service Team was ready with technical support, from simple repairs to reviving half-drowned motorcycles — an impressive sight that earned a lot of respect.

Ferry to Sweden and the first stage

At the end of the Experience Day, it was time to move on. We hurried to catch the ferry to Sweden, an experience in itself with more than 150 Yamaha Ténéré motorcycles riding onto the boat together. On board, a presentation was given by Stegra.io and we ended the evening in Gothenburg, with a short night at the Astoria booth hotel.

The next morning marked the start of the first stage. The Yamaha team immediately began working on several motorcycles that had been "dipped" in Denmark. During this day, we also met the well-known YouTuber Robert Baldinger, who joined us for a day and a half to inspire the riders.

Beautiful route to Högsbyns

The final part of the ride to Högsbyns took us along a nearly rollercoaster-like road through vast landscapes and picturesque forests. The finish location was beautifully decorated by the local campsite in collaboration with a regional caterer, where we enjoyed music, good food, and a fantastic atmosphere. This first stage was not only a test for the motorcycles but also for our passion and perseverance.

Getting ready for the challenge in Norway

Preparations for Norway are already in full swing. It promises to be an epic adventure with stunning routes through fjords, mountains, and nature reserves.
