After the announcement of the destination of the T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 Travel Trophy (TTT), I knew immediately what my next adventure would be: a solo trip through Norway. This breathtaking country had been on my wishlist for five years. But the big question was: how and with which motorcycle? Ultimately, I arranged to have my trusted Honda Africa Twin, Lazuli, transported to the finishing point of the TTT, so I could start my journey in Norway from there.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On the last morning of the TTT, I was already early at Camping Trollstigen to unload Lazuli from the truck. My husband and his friend had lent some of my camping gear, so I began sorting and organizing everything. I securely fastened the right gear onto Lazuli, while the rest went into my suitcase, which my husband took back home. He and his friend would fly back, while our T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 went back in the truck for the return trip to The Netherlands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Magic on the road: From Trollstigen to Camping Furuly<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

After saying goodbye and giving a last helping hand with the trucks, I mounted Lazuli and continued my journey. The goal for that day was about 185 kilometers, but I ended up riding 250 kilometers because I kept stopping to enjoy the natural beauty. My stay was a cozy little cabin at Camping Furuly, booked via Airbnb, perfect for a good night\u2019s rest after a hectic week.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The enchantment of Norwegian nature<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The ride from Trollstigen to Furuly was truly magical. Along peaceful roads beside Norway\u2019s towering rock walls, past the famous Geiranger Fjord, and over unpaved mountain paths. I'm not that tall, but in the Geiranger Fjord I felt even smaller. In the stunning mountains above Geiranger, it started to rain. I stopped briefly at Grotli H\u00f8yfjellshotell, a cozy family-run hotel where Lazuli could stay dry under a canopy, and I could indulge in a warm hot chocolate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As the ride progressed, the rain lessened, and I could continue to enjoy the surrounding nature. Even in the rain, Norway remained breathtakingly beautiful: the mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and unique flora and fauna made every kilometer a new picture. I wanted to stop everywhere to quietly admire the purity of the landscape. On my motorcycle, I experienced the scents and sounds much more intensely than from inside a car. This was the true feeling of freedom and connection with nature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

While packing my gear efficiently and checking my route for the next day, I looked forward to what else Norway would reveal. Traveling through this impressive country is truly special for motorcyclists, nature lovers, and adventurers alike.
